AI video enhancer, in your browser

No installs, no GPU, no settings to learn. Upload a clip and a restoration model does the work, then you decide if the result is worth paying for.

The model behind it

The enhancer is built on SeedVR2, an open video restoration model from ByteDance Seed that we run on cloud GPUs. Unlike older tools that treat every frame as a separate photo, it considers a window of frames at once, which keeps detail stable as things move. In plain terms: faces do not shimmer, text does not crawl and grass does not boil.

We chose it because it handles real-world damage (compression, blur, noise) rather than only clean, synthetic downscaling that most research benchmarks use. Real footage is messy, and that is where models usually fall over.

What happens to your video

Each upload passes through a fixed sequence, so you always know what to expect:

  • Analysis: we read the resolution, length and frame rate and decide whether the AI will help. Already-sharp HD clips are skipped.
  • Cleanup: deblocking and denoising to remove artefacts the model might otherwise copy.
  • AI restoration: the model redraws edges, faces, text and texture at up to 1080p.
  • Finishing: a gentle sharpen, then export as H.264 MP4 with your original audio.

Filter vs AI enhancer

What it is not

It is not a generative video tool. It does not change what happens in the scene, replace faces or add objects. It is also not magic. The model predicts detail, so very small faces and tiny text can come back plausible but not identical. For general use, entertainment and keepsakes this is fine. For legal, forensic or journalistic work, treat enhanced footage as illustration only.

We are also upfront on scope. AI restoration covers clips up to two minutes. Longer clips, up to ten minutes, get cleanup without the AI redraw. Output tops out at 1080p.

AI enhancer or a plain filter

You can get a lot of mileage from free filters: a denoiser, a deblocker, a sharpen. They are fast, free and good for light problems. An AI enhancer earns its price when the damage is heavy, for example compression blocks over faces or text, because filters can only smooth or sharpen what is there. See our comparison of AI upscaling and FFmpeg Lanczos with the same frame processed both ways.

Where AI enhancement is heading

Video restoration models are improving fast. A few years ago the best results needed a powerful workstation and a lot of patience; now a cloud model can do a better job in about a minute. We update the model when something clearly better arrives, so your results get better without you doing anything.

That also means we are careful with claims. We tell you what the model does today, show it on your footage, and let you decide.

Privacy and cost

Uploads and results are deleted after 24 hours. Previews are free, and so is the account you get when you pay. A single video is $9.99, three are $19.99, and a monthly plan with up to 30 videos is $14.99. See pricing for what each includes.

Good uses, and poor ones

Good: making a family video watchable, cleaning a webinar recording, polishing a product demo, recovering a social media video you no longer have the original of. Poor: anything that needs forensic accuracy, anything that is mostly out of focus, anything where you need a different camera angle. Be realistic and the tool will feel generous.

Frequently asked questions

Which AI model do you use?

SeedVR2, a video restoration model, running on Replicate GPUs.

Does it work on any video?

It works on most. Already-HD and sharp clips are skipped because they would not improve.

Can it enhance anime or screen recordings?

Yes. See our example slider for screen text. Illustrations and cartoons also respond well.

Is it safe to upload private videos?

Uploads are private, not indexed, and deleted after 24 hours.
